A mineral frequently used as a gemstone, Sodalite is said to have properties that promote communication and expression, particularly at a deep, insightful level. It is also said to stimulate creativity, mental clarity and logical and analytical abilities.
This is the essence of Sodalite Projects.
Sodalite Projects brings creativity and insight to all of its work, along with highly-developed analytical and communication skills that bring clarity and genuine engagement to every project.
Sodalite Projects' Sue Goodwin has more than thirty years of experience in education, social research and social planning in Australia and overseas, including experience as a practitioner in all three education and training sectors. In addition to teaching and training qualifications, Sue holds a Master of Social Planning and Development.
Sue has been consulting in social policy and planning for almost 20 years and prior to establishing Sodalite Projects in 2018 was Senior Consultant and General Manager with Ithaca Group, a Brisbane-based consulting firm.
In addition to research, evaluation, planning and reporting skills, Sue is highly skilled in teaching and conducting workshops, training sessions and mentoring programs. She has extensive experience in facilitating consultation through surveys, interviews, focus groups, workshops and community meetings, as well as conducting research and evaluation on a wide range of social issues to inform policy-making and program development and improvement.
Over her many years of consulting work, Sue has developed a reputation for producing reports that are clear, insightful and “well-written”. Her writing skills have also been used to produce a variety of products (such as resources, frameworks and tools) designed to assist in turning policy into practice.
Sodalite Projects works in a highly collaborative way, working closely with clients to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
In addition to working independently, Sue regularly works in partnership with Rachel Healy Consulting, Outpost Consulting and Young Futures, as a member of Clarity Consortium.
